Guernsey ElectricityLow Carbon Heating
For homeowners who are able to take energy conservation a stage further, Guernsey Electricity provides Air Source Heat Pumps. These work like a fridge in reverse, extracting heat from the air and using this to heat water for central or under floor heating. Powered by small electric pumps, when working efficiently these devices can generate four units of heat for every unit of electricity used.
